eTown Partnership

madelife announces partnership with eTown

We’re very excited to announce a brand new partnership between our renown madelife Creative Accelerator Program and Boulder’s very own cultural juggernaut, eTown. eTown is a beloved and revered Boulder institution with a 30+ year history.  It’s a music venue, a socially and environmentally conscious non-profit, a world-class recording studio, and a nationally syndicated radio program airing on over 300 stations.  

Starting in May of 2025, madelife began running its music production program out of the beautiful eTown recording studio.  This has been a major upgrade to our program, an absolute game-changer.  The studio is literally jam-packed with professional gear, vintage instruments, amplifiers, a baby grand piano, a mic locker to die for, and a perfectly tuned control room loaded with Ableton Live, Apple Logic and Pro Tools. Our music mentors are absolutely thrilled with the studio, and with the opportunity and value the etown studio has added to our program.

Though this partnership is only in its early stages, it’s already starting to bear fruit. We are actively developing an internship program with potential placement of our high achieving music production mentees into actual professional opportunities. We are restarting our monthly open mic series.  And we have been utilizing the eTown recording studio for video shoots and collaborative recording sessions for our students.  We also have big plans to utilize the music venue at etown to host community events.
